DCFC-2010
Hi there fellow Rams I am very interested in making a Derby County youtube video, so I went on to a website called keepvid.com. I downloaded the videos I wanted and when I went onto windows movie maker and tryed to import the video it said "The file C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Videos\Kris Commons Montage DCFC [www.keepvid.com].flv is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker". Any help please?
Boycie
have you tried turning it off and on again?
GboroRam
Its called a power cycle in technical talk, Boycie. Ask him to power cycle the device. Sounds more professional.
Boycie
You ask him, he's ignoring me.
GboroRam
Maybe he's begun the power cycle, but only done the first half?
DCFC-2010
Just seen these replies now. When you say turning the device on and off, which device are we talking about? The computer? or Windows movie maker? Thanks
RamNut
You need to convert the file type.
Alex W
Just seen these replies now. When you say turning the device on and off, which device are we talking about? The computer? or Windows movie maker? Thanks I believe they were taking the p1ss and telling you to just turn it on and off again, which is the most basic of 'quick fix' routines ever. It's also suggested for any problem by every computer technician there is Have you thought of saving it under a different file type? Or perhaps a different program to WMP? Alex W
What sort of file type mate? When you saved the file in your documents, what type of file did you save it as? It should have asked you what to save it as.
