REDCAR
This just about sums things up. We all knew we would be near the bottom. But makes it even more frustrating that not so long ago we were top. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/oform.html

When we regain form, results will follow quickly.
GboroRam
...and, you'll notice, we've hit the in-form team just as our form dipped. Home defeats to the teams placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th since the dip in form. Its just levelling out - we are the mid-table team most people expected at the beginning of the season. davenportram
It also shows that we have lost to those teams top of the form guide. With the exception of Bristol all of 7 of tour last 8 league losses came from teams in the top 12, and only Burnley was a loss to a team outside the top 7. We are not going to be pushing playoffs this year. Our season now comes down to taking points off teams around and below us. This is also where most of our points have come from already. Ipswich, Doncaster, Barnsley, Palace, Preston, Ssausagehorpe, Hull, Sheffield United, Porstmouth and Middlesborough are going to be the important games for our season. If we can get points from these teams then I think we will be around 12th-14th again. If we can pick up some points and decent performances confidence may very well return and we could get the form of earlier back, which could lead to good results against the likes of Leicester and Coventry, Leeds, and Swansea when they come to Pride Park. If this happens we could well be pushing top 10. A lot of ifs and buts there - but the next 2 fixtures agains Ipswich and Portsmouth need to give the players and fans something to be positive about.
