Now, last week our resident film critic Kris Commons arranged for a group of the lads to go to the cinema to watch the second instalment of Paranormal Activity. I must admit I've not seen the first film, but I'm told that it is a bit on the scary side.

It turns out that Chris Porter's girlfriend was away that night and so he was staying at home alone. When he arrived home from the cinema, he just couldn't face it, so he gave Ben Pringle a call to come and have a sleep over! Ben gratefully accepted the offer of some company and jumped in his car.

Now I'm sure we'll never know the full truth, but rumours in the dressing room are that the two of them cuddled until the sun came up and they were safe again from the things that go bump in the night!

Tomasz Cywka, as I'm sure you're aware suffered a fracture to his cheekbone during the match against Cardiff.

My colleague Matt Brown was the one who offered to sit with Tomasz during that Saturday evening and then again on the Sunday when he had surgery.

He also had the honour of collecting Tomasz's mother who flew in from Poland to see him. According to Matt the first phone call Tomasz made was to his mother after leaving the stadium. It appears that even the toughest of lads like their mums to look after them when their feeling poorly!
