jono
Times have changed, gone are the days when you might go through a season with 13/14 players seeing first team action. We get the elite clubs that have 2 full teams of stars along with plenty of back up for them too. I can’t help feeling that the limits on player numbers need looking at with cover being supplemented by youth (U21/U23) set ups So if you have an injury crisis you have to blood academy players. What are the rules now ? I have no idea, but I am sure getting them right would level playing fields a fair bit and create more competition, interest and opportunity. Day
Championship clubs have increased the number of substitutes to 9 from 7. Will need to replace dugouts with waiting rooms soon. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66059634.amp jono
