Harewood rejects Forest - Lets all laugh at Forest la la la la

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has been left bitterly disappointed by Marlon Harewood's decision to join Wolves.

The Reds manager believed he was close to securing a deal for the Aston Villa striker, only to then see the 29-year-old have a change of heart.

Forest had been in negotiations with Villa for over a week and were strong favourites to take Harewood back to the City Ground for a second spell at the club.

However, the former West Ham man has opted for a move to a club chasing promotion from the Championship rather than one battling against the drop.

"Harewood will be signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers, rather than Nottingham Forest," Davis said in the Nottingham Evening Post.

Wolves have agreed a deal which will see them initially sign Harewood on loan, with the view to making the switch permanent in the summer.

Forest, meanwhile, must now turn their attention elsewhere as they look to bolster their firepower ahead of what promises to be a keenly-fought relegation scrap.

But then again we still have to play Wolves too.

I hope you haven't come on to stop us from laughing at Forest, if so the logout link is at the top right of the site.

All together now, lets all laugh at Forest, lets all laugh at Forest la la la la

It just shows that most people who have played for Forest don't even like them.

Brian Clough lived in Derby.

Nigel Clough has lived most of his life in Derby.

Martin O'Neill praised Derby (MOTD comments).

Kris Commons left and played better for Derby.

Harewood doesn't want to go back.
