Who are our biggest rivals?

I confess to being a football snob .. I respect lower league sides, small towns, their teams and their fans but quite honestly we are in this league because of the footballing gods are amusing themselves weaving the threads of our destiny. It is a trial, we haven't entertained them enough. Our fate and destiny is surely for better things when we are favoured by those on high.

But that doesn't dent who we are, twice champions of England. A city making the engines of the air and alma mater to England's most deadly goal machine. (Cue martial music) .. So when teams like, Barnsley, Wigan "athletic" (guffaws ) and a Reading, a commuter town and shopping centre on the M4 turn up, I don't see them as rivals, just part of the suffering the gods have visited on us. We win we lose, so be it ... but rivalry ? .. Our enemies are red dogs and that damned United. Our rivals will be those present when we reclaim our rightful place at the high table in Vallahalh ( Ooops I mean the premier league )
