Posted August 22, 20168 yr Obviously Brighton fans didn't think so and Man Utd have allowed him again to drop a division but I must say I was shocked about this. http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/lionel-messi-hails-derby-county-new-boy-james-wilson-as-one-of-world-s-brightest-young-stars/story-29642646-detail/story.html
August 22, 20168 yr "Wilson is joined on Messi's list, put together as part of an Adidas campaign, by Chelsea duo Kenedy and Jeremie Boga." Messi* would pick Kelvin Wilson as the world's greatest ever centre half if Adidas told him to. *No mark junior marketing executive that actually compiled the list.
August 22, 20168 yr Author So basically Adidas have told him to pick Wilson? I'm guessing Adidas sent those 10 future stars the boots rather then Messi then? If I was Messi I wouldn't agree having players on my list because my sponsor told me to. That said if true, then at least Adidas think Wilson could be a next star- maybe I should edit the title

I just can't bring myself to believe that Lionel Messi spends his spare time watching Brighton and Stade Rennais matches.
August 22, 20168 yr All the good youth players already have deals, this was just a gimmick I'm afraid to say. Take Rashford for example, apparently getting signed to Rockerfella (Jay Z)
