I personally think Christie is dreadful but I'm not gonna moan loud enough to annoy half the stand or chant sarcastic or just offensive songs against him. It has always been the way, and always will be. I am sure that Steve Bloomer had his fair share of moaners. At the same time, if you want to be adored and held aloft when you are winning and playing well, you have to accept that when you are losing and playing poorly, you will receive the opposite reaction. One thing I really don't get, and one SS prat behind me is guilty of it, is fans that abuse players BEFORE they are even on the pitch. Last season Dawkins got a grilling from the fella behind me simply for having the gall to get up when instructed by SM, and warm up on the touchline.
