Guys and Girls,

When adding images to your posts can you upload them to the forum instead of linking to other websites,

How to upload images can be found here

When sites remove the images it leaves a broken image in your post, I've alos known sites to replace a image that is being linked to with a gay image which we dont as you may understand.

Can you, for the sake of a geriatric old idiot like me, re-advise on adding images to posts, please?

The link above takes me to a thread about Ramsgate being docked 4 points, or am I missing something?

There's a little picture frame icon on the toolbar, click that and paste in the image URL. The image upload will be switched on soon for members+, just a couple things need to figure out first

I don't see any icons or anything. I'm on ipad. I used to see all the icons off my laptop but I haven't got a toolbar thingy now.

Tinpot forum.

I'll tinpot you, it's still possible but requires a bit more effort, are you ready for this?

If using Google images

1) Hold your finger on the image you want to use and select copy.

2) Clear the browser address bar and hold your finger, click paste

3) Highlight what's in the address bar and hold your finger click copy

4) On here in the post editor enter....

[img=PASTE URL IN HERE]

So you would have the brackets, img=

Or if you have a pic you want to upload from your phone, goto http://tinypic.com , upload the picture and copy the direct layout link and add it in the image code above.

For Desktop Users

1) Find your image in Google images, click the image and it should open up into a black box, on the right side click view image

2) This will open the image into it's own page. Copy the URL in the address bar

3) On the forum in the editor toolbar click the little picture farm icon with a tree in (11th on bottom row) and paste in the url
