YorkshireRam
Pretty sure people said that about Bent. Fair point, Bent is proven though whereas Powell isn't really. I'm not saying he's not a talented player because he clearly is; also buying players with suggested 'poor attitudes' has its merits, namely lower prices because clubs want rid. McClaren could work on his attitude and in the end will have the say if he wants him at the club. If Steve reckons he'll be a good fit in the squad, then I trust his judgement. RamNut
Really? At Wigan their best player by a military mile, I thought, was Roger Espinoza after he came on. We looked terrified of him. That was this season wasn't it?

RamNut
No, the 3-1 win last season I think. Last season at home we lost 1-0 and Espinoza was subbed off. Powell played. That was the match i meant. last season away we won 3-1 and espinoza came on at half time. But thats a match for real fans only.. As a plastic, I of course did not go. But Powell did score their goal.....
blackNwhites
Really? At Wigan their best player by a military mile, I thought, was Roger Espinoza after he came on. We looked terrified of him. Absolutely. Completely changed the game at the DW, from a team that looked incompetent to a team that threatened to get back into the game. He looked miles better than anybody else on the pitch. Powell scored their goal.
