vicky-27
Oh i do hope this is true. ROBBIE Savage will sign a one-year extension to his Derby County deal early next week. Midfielder Savage, who was farmed out on loan to Division One Brighton last season when he fell out of favour with former boss Paul Jewell, has impressed current Derby manager Nigel Clough. Clough sees him as a dressing-room leader and Derby are ready to reward the former Wales international with a deal that will keep him at the club until he is 37. David
I do hope it's not true. Don't get me wrong I like the guy but we need to be looking to replace him with someone with fresh legs. With Pringle and Mendy looking like they could be ready to push for a place in the first team we should be looking at these players to introduce fully next season. Boycie
I'm happy, as long as it's not at his current rate of pay.
David
Let him prove himself over a full season and look to renew it then, we could extend it now and see him get injured for the whole season which at his age and our luck with injuries is a possiblity. Boycie
sign him up, and sell him at the end of the season when we get promoted. A championship team would then want him. Kerfeckinching!
David
Have you been smoking what Steve Bull has been smoking? Brighton wouldn't even take him for free. We can't just keep players because female fans fancy him.
Boycie
As you havn't ever seen him play LIVE, let me explain something to you. He's fecking Great!
David
He's also fecking old, he's already admitted his legs have gone and lets Green and Pearson do all the running. I'd rather get Pringle or Mendy introduced to the first team gradually alongside Pearson and Green.
Boycie
Where has he admitted his legs have gone? He said others said his legs are gone, but he said he has kept up with everybody in training and because of this, he feels he can go on another season at least. Look, I'm right, so don't wait yer time.
David
Soccer AM he admitted they were gone and there is a interview on RamsPlayer with him which he says Green and Pearson do all the running as he can't anymore.

Perky1106
A one year extension if he performs well until January, yes. Anything more than that, no.
CumbrianRam
Hope he takes a wage cut.
David
Why January, we want to see what he can do in a full season, no use in having players who can only last half a season when we have young players chomping at the bit to have a go.
