Ramshankered
Thought it worth posting the tube closures over the bank holiday - I don't expect it'll affect most of you, but worth knowing if you're not overly familiar with getting around London. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/?startDate=2014-05-24T00:00:00&endDate=2014-05-26T23:59:59 In a nutshell: Circle line Latimer Road station is closed from Saturday to Monday to allow for station improvement work. District line From Saturday to Monday, there is no service between Aldgate East and Upminster to allow for track replacement work at Barking and while Crossrail work is carried out at Whitechapel. Hammersmith & City line Trains will not run between Moorgate and Barking from Saturday to Monday to allow for track replacement work at Barking and while Crossrail work is carried out at Whitechapel. Latimer Road station is closed from Saturday to Monday to allow for station improvement work. Jubilee line On Sunday, there is no service between Waterloo and Finchley Road until 11:00 to enable us to carry out essential Jubilee line tunnelling work. Victoria line Trains will not run between Highbury & Islington and Walthamstow Central from Sunday to Monday, while we replace points at Seven Sisters. Also I'm pretty sure that alleged tube strike was a load of guff, so as things stand nothing to worry about.

Yeah i think it was the union saying it would cause havoc but TfL disagree.

Carl Sagan
Chiltern Railways also run a service to Wembley Stadium from Marylebone (Bakerloo line). Most people go by tube (underground) to Wembley park, so the train can be less busy as a route in and out. Marylebone is just round the corner from Baker Street station (a couple of minutes walk).
