Don't know if this has already been posted but it looks like he does have an actual injury (shock horror, they were telling the truth!)

FEARS are growing that Derby County midfielder Will Hughes could miss the final"http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1" alt="icon1"> six matches but there is better news on defender John Brayford.

A groin problem has sidelined Hughes since the draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers seven weeks ago.

Brayford has been absent in the last five fixtures due to a hamstring injury.

Asked if both players are likely to be out for the rest of the season, manager Nigel Clough said: “We’re still not sure.

“John is looking a bit more promising.

“He is at the stage where he can do some running and may be even join in some of the things we can do but not too much of the contact stuff.”

Brayford had been ever-present while Hughes had started 34 of 35 matches"http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1" alt="icon1">, a remarkable run for a 17-year-old.

“We are not too sure if Will is going to be out for the whole season,” said Clough.

“It is something as a professional footballer"http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1" alt="icon1"> he is going to have to get used to, unfortunately. He is going to have spells out.

“All he has to do is look at Shaun Barker next to him in the gym"http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1" alt="icon1"> and see how you have to handle and cope with things in football.

“Will is doing some gym work, which is good. He probably needed that anyway for his physical development.

“We have had to get special weights brought in because we didn’t have any light enough for him!”

Clough is hoping top scorer Jamie Ward and midfielder"http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1" alt="icon1"> Craig Bryson are fit to face Ipswich Town in the Championship at Pride Park today.

A tight hamstring kept Ward out of the win at Leeds on Monday. Bryson limped out of the game with a groin problem.

Both were scheduled to train yesterday.

“We will see how they are,” said Clough. “Both are not 100% by any means, but with six games to go, we are going to try and get them out there.

“Gareth Roberts is not too far off as well.”

Roberts has missed the last three games with a calf injury.

The most interesting part about that - didn't have weights light enough for him?! What the hell. Either Hughes is really weak or the rest of the team are like powerlifters. You'd think they'd have a couple of 5kg ones at least!

I think you'll find that the 'weights' quip is an example of Clough's dry sense of humour.

Cue "Clough lies to newspaper" in 5....4....3....

Yeah but he says er WAY too much. All this ******** about FFP pales into insignificance alonsgide that. There needs to be a real review at the FA about how many times a manager is allowed to say er.

It's important to our fans.
