Anag Ram Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 I seriously think this seasons transfer window in the Championship will set a record for the lowest amount of money spent on transfer fees for the division ever, is already reminding me of the January sales - a load of clubs scrambling after the freebies and when they realise they've been beaten to the punch by someone else they go home empty handed. Grant apart I just hope we don't end up in this boat. It's the Next January sale isn't it? Everyone queues up for hours waiting for the bargains only to find rails and rails of market standard goods which have been thumbed through and discarded in the previous year. Most will be 'damaged goods', discounted because of attitude, injury or technical weaknesses. I hope we strike lucky but the signing of Martin to me shows the way for a pre-season full of disappointment. I just hope our youngsters show the way again next year.
