I do apologise for taking this topic ..off topic.. I have the greatest respect for Peter Taylor,

he certainly was in the 'top two' of the biggest influences in Derby Counties history..

God bless you Peter, R.I.P..and sorry for 'mucking up' your tribute..

I agree totally bruv.

I once read an autobiography "With Clough by Taylor" Which made it clear that Whilst Taylor needed Clough, Clough needed Taylor.

For instance Peter took Brian to watch an unknown Gary Birtles who had a bad game and Cloughie said "don't waste my time again Peter" then saw one move which Gary made and signed him.

Clough did nothing at Forest until Taylor joined him.

I am delighted that PP has the statue of both of them.
