  1. I hit Diamond 3 at my peak, I quit not long after, and that's still a ways off pro level.

That's pretty good. I play too often by myself to get anywhere near that. Elohell and all that.

  2. I love it... and I'm not a massive pc gamer just through my graphics card and me not being a fan without a controller...

I'm pretty decent as well to be fair... not like pro or anything but ok.

  3. This is the game I'm most looking forward to

Xbox gets a beta in a few months as well, hopefully it lives up to the hype

Don't let the scripted player voice chat fool you though. Does look good however.

Looking forward to the next Gears of War.

  4. Ah, the laughable collision system. It peaked a few years back now and has been going downhill since. And I consider myself a decent player who comfortably hits division 1 online.

PES was great last year, but just lacked in online functionality. This years is promising to be way better than FIFA.

  5. It's just rubbish. The defending system doesn't work correctly, it's so difficult to control your player to defending high through balls and that's before we mention that the player models themselves have been the same for about 6 years now. The torso/shoulders just look absolutely ridiculous.

  6. I like Grolsch - it's quite unusual to see it on draught, which is a pity.

Quite prevalent the further south you go. It's the only real rival we have to Stella unfortunately. You do get it round here occasionally. We aren't really pushing it at the moment though.

  7. As far as 'stock' lagers go, Stella Artois and Kronenbourg are pretty well the only two on sale in the UK which have any sort of flavour at all. Interesting that one has Belgian and the other French origin, although in reality both tend to be 'Brewed Under Licence' in the UK at a reduced alcohol level.

The Stella Artois brewed in Leuven, Belgium, is a different animal indeed.

You forgot Grolsch. Pretty flavoursome in the swingtop bottles imported from Holland.

  8. My first beer of the day yesterday/today - Piraat, the first of my birthday beers. Utterly magnificent - went down a treat.

The second one is Kwak, an old favourite. Any excuse to get the glass and cradle out of the cupboard.

One glass of Piraat and you start feeling giddy. Glorious 12%
