Tbf any different to the reaction of a lot of Oxford fans after we beat them !? I know and think 🧐 not. A fair comment. I thought they looked a step above us.

They said the same of Plymouth… My top 2- Posh and Bolton.

Amazing how Posh keep finding these players… I almost hate to say it, but I agree about Sibs… homegrown player and love him for that. He also has had his stellar moments for sure. BUT. I really don’t think he can bring enough often enough..:

To be honest if the ref deemed it to be a significant push then he should have given a fk and not awarded the peno. Once he did the latter the former becomes irrelevant in my mind. It was a yellow.

I’m amazed how folk are almost ignoring Bolton in this… they are strong and quietly going about their business. Decent squad too. i’m betting on them being top two.

It’s been a good rub and the two away wins were superb and vital…. BUT, to fair we never really turned up today…..their quick movement and transition through midfield once again highlights our lack of pace and grit in that area and where we need to strengthen- Fornah been a big disappointment in that area/respect in my view. The lack of a full press plays into their hands- surprised Warne didn’t recognize that more to be honest - but again, you need the legs to carry it out..

Hard to understand why they would. boo him- a good servant to the Club and from what I could gauge fairly popular as a player when with them..🤷

Absolutely any other time it would have been a certain yellow..the way the refs seem to be going after us recently it would certainly have been a yellow and a red if one of our players did it.. And yes, I know I sound paranoid 😎

Seems every ref at the moment seems to want to book every and any Rams player and ignore the opposition… In normal circumstances that would have been a second yellow for the peno but think ref bottles it as didn’t want to send the player off and effectively kill the game… poor decision.

Said before that the key to beating Posh is the very high and committed press. But of course to do that you need very fresh legs ….. which we clearly (understandably perhaps after the last couple of games) don’t have.

We need a caldron of noise- whether we are behind or not. 🎺

If we are to do it this season then Cash must stay. Period.

I agree. Nelson is far more commanding in the air . Bradley no colossus. Maybe once- certainly not now. Mobility u lose with age. But the ability to head a ball u don’t. Perplexing.

Interesting how Cash would react if he decided to go but we exercised that 1 year option…

They play the same away as at home. Quick interchanges and using both their wingers (who are good) a LOT. They also have a very good central creative midfield. If I’m honest I rate them as a better side than us right now. They also have a very astute manager. Two keys for me: 1. We must start well. Give them the first goal and i think it will be tough. 2. We must press them hard, always and as a team. They don’t respond well to this. Almost as if we were playing away from home. COYR !!

Interesting hearing on the Ramstalk podcast with the Posh guy that Ward had a habit of giving away silly penalties when he was with them…😳

Sorry- should know this… But why are Posh shown as above us in the League even though we have won more games ? Goals scored ??

It’s true about him ducking under a couple of high balls….one particular one when he seemed to not relish the challenge and was easily beaten in the air… Cash scrambling back to clear near the line- but succeeding in winning a goal kick… surprised me- that was supposed to be his strength…. Leftover from the bang on the nose last game maybe ????
