  1. I won't be the only one looking at these lineups and thinking, that sounds absolutely horrific. Would rather go spend the weekend watching cricket.
  2. You can shower if you're the size of Warwick Davis, everyone else will have to turn the bathroom into a wet room. Everything I've heard about the adult weekends sound worse, rammed, drugs, East 17 rolling out on stage on mobility scooters. Not something I will ever want to experience
  3. Is this common knowledge? Not sure. Just went to watch the latest Stick to Football, in the promo Neville spoke about being asked to be interviewed for the Derby job, would have been in the 3 years prior to taking on Valencia so sometime during the period of 2012-2015.
  4. What are we teaching kids here? Already got to break the news Santa ain’t real, going to have to explain dinosaurs are actually extinct.
  5. Yeah, it's not like that at all. It's this and no house, cheaper than an house, lives on it full time.
  6. I came up with a great analogy for Butlins this morning when the seagulls woke me up. Not sure it’s suitable for TripAdvisor though. Hear me out though, Butlins is like ahem, in the number 2.. Him “It’s not that bad, honestly you should try it, loads of people do it” Her “One day maybe, I have to be in the mood to try it” The day rolls round and after 30 seconds Her “Get out, get out, I don’t like it, get out!” I won’t ever ask for it again now as it will just remind me of Butlins.
  7. More desperate we look, higher the price tag. Can stay at Cardiff for me, but if they want rid to raise some money I think we should help them out, bit of charity warms the soul.
  8. I should send it in to the local paper to save others making the same mistake I have. The wife's brother comes every year. The in laws come every year. The wife has been multiple times. You should go, it's great they said. Absolute codswallop. From the minute you drive in you know it's going to be hell, long queues to be directed which way to drive through the concrete jungle, most places have check in desks in a nice reception area. Not Butlins. You check in like you're crossing a toll bridge and it's a dash for a parking space near your apartment. I walk into the apartment and it feels like a game of one wrong step and you're through the ceiling, floorboards caving in all over covered by a laminate lino. It's ok, I won't walk around, find the bed and it's as comfy as an ironing board and not much longer. I tip toe to the bathroom and faced with that shower, a shower than is smaller than the one on my Dad's yacht. Unbelievable, I grab the bananas for scale, squeeze in, take all the pictures to upload to social media but wait.....absolutely no mobile signal. Ok, they say they have wifi, well they do, but it's 1 bar of 1mb which comes and goes every couple of minutes. Properly pee'd off I'm here till Friday and still not feeling 100%, I stay in the apartment all night, excuse being not to infect the other guests, yet truth be told, reducing the population wouldn't be a bad thing, might get on the wifi then. The wife takes the kids and in laws out to the entertainment, I stay in to hear nothing but feral kids running around outside for a good hour before their parents realised they were being anti social. I make my way to the kitchen to make a fish finger sandwich, just 2 as they are the chunky ones. 45 minutes in the oven here. Eat those to be awoken at 6am by seagulls which I can only assume were killing each other. I feel loads better this morning, but undecided if I should venture out with the rest of the cattle or hide away in the apartment.
  9. I don't think so no, I would imagine there would be some kind of financial incentive that will have been included in the contract on gaining promotion, so he will be rewarded for that. This will be something that will be reviewed next summer as he enters his final season. I would be fine with it, I wouldn't see it as a reason for huge celebration as such nor a reason to throw the toys out the pram. We know managerial contracts don't mean a lot these days. End of the day, the length of the contract really only benefits the manager and his staff with secured payout if terminated early, hitting the owner in the pocket.

    Paul Warne

I'm also guilty of questioning the timing of certain posts/topics, including one of Sage's, the summer transfer suggestion thread, which in my opinion was absurd to be thinking about in February when we had no idea what league we would be in. The topic remains open, into page 39, doesn't change my opinion that it should have been a conversation to be starting this week. Same with Paul Warne's future and worrying about the style of football in the Championship. We're there now, makes sense if those want to voice their concerns. There is a huge difference though between being told you cannot talk about something, quiet, sssh, lock it and voicing an opinion which questions the timing. I also think most regular members should be able to read the room at this stage, you know roughly where people stand and if you're going to throw out a controversial take 10 minutes after the final whistle after gaining promotion, kinda got to accept the criticism you would get for that. Also, theres been some goading from the other side if you like following promotion, forcing humble pie down someone's throat will only be spat back in your face. If you actually read what those critical of Warne are saying, promotion wouldn't change the concern they have going forward, so yeah, lose the first 2 or 3 I'm sure we'll be back to the same debate. Although for me, if you give the manager the summer, got to give them until Christmas then barring any complete and utter disaster situation which we saw under Pearson. All in my opinion of course.
  11. I would hope all the players and live and well after the weekend. Is he signing though?
  12. Ipswich. If anyone says Leeds…
  13. At the time of the poll, no players had been signed, even Jason Knight was still here.

Yeah there is no real excuse now for forgetting passwords. Both Google and Apple have inbuilt password storage, will even suggest passwords, then you have 3rd party apps like Lastpass as well. You have one password to remember, just one. Which my wife will still struggle with, but won't go there. Add in 2FA, no reason why in this day and age you can give yourself the best protection from hacking.
  15. You're not the only one, @maxjam has just joined @Red_Dawn who last summer said avoid relegation. Well we smashed that. I went for mid table. Smashed that also.
  16. I'll start. Successfully trusting the first fart since Friday, honestly, I haven't smiled as much since we were promoted to the Championship.
