  1. 1Wildsmith - 7.5 solid and steady except for the mistake that Sonny cleared 35Nelson - 8 solid as always, what a signing he’s been 5Bradley - 8 looks great whenever he plays yesterday, showed his class on a couple of occasions yesterday. Wins every header. 6Cashin - 8 Back to his best last few games after a bad spell. 24Nyambe - 7.5 solid but thought he couldn’t drove with the ball more 12Smith - 7.5 steady and worked well when he came on. Also a great pass for NML for the goal. 8Bird - 7 was quiet yesterday but was tidy 32Adams - 8 I love this man 20Elder - 7.5 has been faultless in these past 2 games 2Wilson - 7 positive as always 11Méndez-Laing 7.5 had a poor game, would of gave him 6.5 if it wasn’t for the game changing moment at the end 7Barkhuizen - 6.5 didn’t do too much 17Sibley - 8 purely for the goal
  2. So Dwight Gayle could be signing if the EFL allow it and Warne has a second striker to fall back on he said, my guess is sits Wickham. Think Gayle will be a similar story to Chris Martin and Jordan Rhodes. An ex prolific championship goalscorer drops to league one and poaches goals for fun.
  3. So Warne Confirms Collins out for the season and we will probably sign a free agent as we have money to spend through birds transfer fee.
  4. What haha, or a smart manager who’s playing 3 strong centre backs agaisnt 2 strong strikers and overloading the wings against a narrow Stevenage side.
  5. Under 2,500 home tickets left and Stevenage bringing over 1,000. Should be a good turn out.
  6. Was more so saying just one or two of them to play 6/8. You’d need end product around these players 100%.
  7. For the midfield would take any of -Greg Doherty (27) out of contract - Jordan Thompson (27) out of contact - don’t shoot me but Ben Osborn (29) out of contract could wanna move home for his latter years 😅 Think all 3 players are steady hard working players who’d 100% keep us up if we went up. Another lad I’d have a look at is Joe Williams (27) at Bristol city who’s out of contract in the summer, would be a very good addition and I also think Max Bird is his replacement so could be kind of an indirect swap between clubs.
  8. Stupidly think we will win 2/3-0 tomorrow. NML Bird and Adams on fire all players look too good for the level and think if we match Stevenages fight and desire, which has upped recently. We should win. No wonder NML is on fire just seen if he plays 6 more games for us we will be the club he’s represented the most in his career and needs just 4 goals to beat his record of 20 with Rochdale. Getting a player settled in can really see them flourish.
  9. Listening to Warne on BBC radio derby - It didn’t sound like it’s that likely Collo will be out for the season. - Also sounds confident all of Hourihane, Elder and CBT would be ok to be involved on the weekend in some fair. - Nyambe is ok
  10. If Collo is out for the season, we need to play barkhuizen up top for next 2/3 games while Washington and Waghorn are gaining full fitness and recall Dajaune when we can. For this weekend, they’ve a very physical side so I’d love to see Bradley play to wrestle with their strikers. Wildsmith Nelson Bradley Cashin Wilson Thompson Adams Bird Sibley NML Barkhuizen Thats assuming Elder, Hourihane, CBT, Collo and Nyambe all aren’t fit enough to start.
  11. Except he didn’t, Forest green played 5-3-2 with Kane and Barnsley’s Nicky Caden as wing backs
  12. Adding to this As the league has split into a top 7 and the rest in my opinion. Bolton have to play all other 6 teams in that top 7 Portsmouth have to play 5 of the other 6 (They’ve played Stevenage twice) where as after Saturday we have to play just 3 of the 6 ( Portsmouth, Bolton and Barnsley)
  13. Also a few cheap/free options out of reading I’d look at regardless of what division we’re in next season. If they’re still in a bad state come the summer. Harvey Knibbs, seems to be developing well and he’s a derby lad. Athletic winger/10 and at 24 he’s still got a few years until he hits his peak. Has bagged 7 goals and picked up 4 assists so far this season. Femi Azeez, another lad who can play a few positions in the attacking area. Would have to pay a comp fee as he’s out of contract in the summer but it would be well worth it. Technically gifted and has 6 goals and 6 assists in 32 games for Reading already this season at the age of 22. Charlie Savage, only 20 years old and looks a technical lad could be a good player to have in and around the squad while he developes. All of these lads have bright futures and could definitely be high end championship players in a few years.
  14. A few cheap sensible options we should look at - Suggested him in January, Ruel Sotiriou. 23 years old and can play on the left or right, in the 10 or even as a striker. Hes out of contract in the summer and has 10 goals and 3 assists in 31 games for Leyton orient this season and I was also impressed with him when he played us earlier in the season. - Suggested him in the summer and he’s done even better than I thought he would in League 2. Come the summer time he’ll have one year left on his contract and if Notts don’t get promoted and we do the lure of going back to the championship could be big for him. Don’t think he’d be massive money with only 12 months on his contract. Plays left or right wing back or winger and has 20 assists and 5 goals from 28 league games this season. - Bit of an optimistic one then, if Ipswich were to be promoted to the prem and we were promoted to the Champ I’d do everything we can to get Cam Burgess from Ipswich to replace Cash if he does leave in the summer. A 28 year old left footed man mountain who’s well good enough for the championship. He’s played a lot for Ipswich this year but if they were to go up I could see them replacing him. He’s out of contract in the summer so who knows.
  15. Just seen Boltons next 7 league games include 5 away fixtures. Travelling over 1,100 miles. Also that from now until after they play us on the 16th of March they’ve to play every Tuesday to catch up on missed games. They’ve already picked up injuries to their best Defender and best striker Santos and Charles. Could see them getting a bit of a burn out with them fixtures. Big few weeks to try build a gap over them.
  16. 1Wildsmith - 7 looked comfortable and makes me feel more at ease than Vickers 2Wilson - 7 was more solid defensively than usual today 35Nelson - 7.5 solid as always, what a player 6Cashin - 7 one or two shakey moments but was solid as per 23Ward - 6 20Elder - 7.5 impressive again, been good when called upon as of late 8Bird - 9 the man is on fire, if he keeps playing like this we will win more games of football 32Adams - 8.5 genuinely unbelievable, hopefully we can sign him in the summer. He’s been here only 2 weeks and looks like he’d die for the shirt. 17Sibley - 6 4Hourihane - 6 looked weak in some duels again and a few loose passes but wasn’t all that bad 12Smith - 6 nice to see him back 11Méndez-Laing - 7.5 what a player when he plays well we’re such a better side 5Bradley - 6, should start Saturday agaisnt a physical Stevenage side 9Collins - 7 worked hard as always and had some nice build up play in the second half 27Blackett-Taylor - 5 was unlucky not a lot went down his side, stick with him I’m sure he will come good. Also wasn’t getting fouls a lot of refs would give
  17. Stats after tonight Best Away record in the league 💯 Second most goals in the league ⚽️ Best defence in the league 🧱
  18. Team for the rest of the season Wildsmith Wilson Nyambe Nelson Bradley Cashin Forsyth Elder Adams Bird NML
  19. Someone start a go fund me to get Adams on a permanent.
  20. Must say Reece Cole in the middle of the park for Exeter was very good. Not to sure why they’ve taken him off.
