Parking near Pride Park

Hi all,

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm a wednesday fan looking for some advice.

Not long till the first game of the league season now and im looking forward to visiting your stadium, last time i came it was a great day out (even though we lost 3-0)

It will be the first time we have driven up though and i was wondering if you could advise me on where is best to park? We have absolutely no idea where were going once we get to the stadium so looking for some precise directions/maps if possible too please 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

All depends on what time you arrive and how far you want to walk. There is plenty of matchday parking within 5-10 minutes walk from the stadium on the Pride Park industrial estate.

Can you park in the retail outlet opposite the ground where JJB is/used to be?

I find the best parking to be on the cattle market, but thats where home fans will be mostly, then just walk along the road, through Costco car park and over t'bridge.

otherwise the Derby Evening Telegraph (used) to do parking and a programme, don't know if that still exists? that's an easy enough walk, its signposted, just follow the riverside path/
