jagerbob
Leicester, Forest and Leeds are all investing heavily. This alone, nevermind the rest of the division should hopefully rack some support up to get the board to spend some money. Instead of putting up 7 million a year to cover our debts, why dont they put up 10, and give Clough somethng to play with. Selling Shackell, just so Clough has 1 million to play with, stinks of penny pinching, and until FFP is enforced, it means we arent playing on the same field as the other clubs are. On finanicial terms, we are the ssausagehorpe and barnsley of the league. Our academy, training facillities, stadium and fan base mean very little when other clubs can offer new players more cash in wages. Lynch chose huddersfield over us for Christs sakes. jagerbob
So FFP is comign in this season is it? But the sanctions/penalties will not come into effect for another 2 years, to allow clubs time to sort their finances in order. So basically while we play this FFP game now, the rest of the division plays the "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it" card, theres 6 promotion places up for grabs before then! Bris Vegas
Most of them will get bailed out one way or another or find loopholes and change the name of the stadium or sponsors every 2 years... You only have to look at Cardiff to see something is clearly wrong with todays game..They're basically a new club with a shed load of money..
