vicky-27
Good luck to them - hope Pesch does a good job for them. Barry Fry recommended him the Burton Chairman said this morning.
Day
Bad bad bad move, no managerial experience and they are facing a tough season. They should of gone for a manager who has had league experience but hey what do I know, they will probably be Champions come May.

vicky-27
They were hoping for someone with a lot more experience - but he made such a good impression they decided to go with Pesch.
Perky1106
As a well experienced player popular at his previous clubs, he should have good enough contacts that will be impressionable in League Two. Good luck to him. Burton love having heroes of this neck of the woods manage them.
Boycie
Wasn't Pesch and the other ex Derby lad managing an Irish team?
Day
Are you thinking of Jeff Kenna? don't think Pesch has managed any team before.
Thornhill
Pesch was assistant manager to Jeff Kenna at St. Pats Atheltic.
Perky1106
Well, whatever happens at the Pirelli next season you can always buy FIFA 2010 and take over Burton Albion in the manager mode. Then take them to the Champions League final.
rams71
a Burton fan at work is absolutely disgusted about Pesch being their new manager. " we've had loads of applicants for the job and yet we've gone for the cheap option" or words like that,he is not a happy Brewer. i myself think it's a big mistake
Day
It is a big mistake, Clough has already ripped the club to pieces by leaving and taking all the coaching staff plus there star defender, now they have a inexperienced manager in charge to try and keep them in the league, I to would be disgusted. I was going to say I can see Clough helping out by loaning him some of our youngsters e.g Beardsley but with our U21 team for next season Clough will want to keep hold of them.
