Gaspode
According to Sky, the High Court will make a judgement in the next couple of weeks regarding the football creditors rule that allows football debts to be paid first if a club goes bust - the suggestion is that this could have a major impact on transfers as it will mean that clubs want transfer payments up front or over short-terms rather than the current method of staging payments over a number of years... Let's hope it comes to pass then, football debts being paid first is IMHO immoral and I have a hard time believing it's legal!
uttoxram75
It would reduce transfer fees immensely. In stead of say, Man Utd buying Theo for £10m spread over 3 years, he'd go for about £6m cash up front.
