Midtable mediocrity

Its the old saying injuries should not matter. However when teams lose what would be half of their first team it does affect them. We have Anderson playing right back and he gets ripped apart. After watching Roberts I would be tempted to put Kilbane back into left back as he is being targetted by teams. Boro was doing it on Saturday. When you think we had Croft at right back (which he does really well at) the question has to be why did they attack Roberts flank more than Croft and test him out. With Ward and Roberts we must have the smallest left side of the pitch. Ward has to support Roberts too much. If and mean if Kilbane is fully fit then would be tempted to play him at either left or right back.

Too many first team out with injuries that are not little knocks where the medical staff can keep them going. Tyson groin injury, Steve Davies fractured skull, Green and Barker knee, Brayford thigh muscle tear, Bailey ankle injury. Now some may question training but of these only Brayford injured in training the rest in games (barker wear and tear). It is bad luck at the moment and at some point some of this has to change. If Shackell is injured another one in the game.

Yes the run may not have been great at present but apart from Leicester the games we had chances to win them. The academy is developing some cracking youngsters which for the future of the club bodes well.

We need to look at a couple of loan players to give some a rest and give the team a little boost. Clough has said they are trying Glick has said when a player is presented that will improve the squad the funds are there. The question is what does Glick think improves the squad.
