Kevin Kilbane - Would you sign him?

Was Kilbane faultless today on the goals, those who were there?

On the second no, first one out of position O'Brien caught out covering. His general performance though was as bad as it gets for a player at this level. When Burnley hit the post second half, he basically stood 10 yards off the player and invited him to shoot from inside the box.

Thought Kilbane was the same as he has been so far for us.

He seems consistent. Pace is a problem. Experience and intelligence are pretty good.

But again it's always him and O'Brien with the punts. Not the end of the world, but a bit destructive.

Pro's:

Intelligence and experience

Cons:

Distribution and pace.

A player that can devide opinion for sure!

Well he certainly has experience and intelligence to get other players to do his job for him, without it seems a lot of supporters noticing.

To be fair he can pass the ball well but because of his total lack of mobility others have to help him out too much and this makes an already negative formation at home even more negative.

Regardless of how he plays, he will be the scapegoat until Tyson misses his first chance.

Fact is that the goals today were errors from O'Brien and Fielding, so not really sure what Kilbane has done wrong to get this sort of reaction.

Call it intuition,

call it a gut feeling,

call it whatever you want,

but I'd hazard a guess that Ianm will not be voting for Kilbane as player of the year....

His tackling is woeful. Is it any coincidence that everything Doncaster and Burnley tried they did down Kilbane's side?
