Boycie
I've tried the power cycle. But, my dvd camcorders packed up and I can't now view my mini dvd's that it used. I've tried using the laptop, but it won't even recognise the disc? Help me! I expect some piss taking, but a little help mixed in would be gratefully received. GboroRam
By "packed up", what do you mean - what does it do? Will it not come on at all? Can you browse the CDs on the laptop - or are they completely in a format not recognised? Did the camcorder come with software - if so it may allow you to view the DVDs on the laptop. Stupid question but an obvious one to ask - does the laptop have a DVD drive, or is it a CD drive? 'Cos if so, its not going to be able to view the disk. And last of all, try turning it off and on again power cycling it again.

GboroRam
If you remove the battery and plug it into the mains, does it come on? If so, leave it charging for a few hours and try it again.
