Boycie
Fray Bentos Pies are savoury pies that come in a pie-pan shaped, sealed in. Each tin weighs 475g (17oz.) The tin is lined with uncooked puff pastry dough. Filling is put in, then a top layer of puff pastry put on, then the tin sealed with a top. (Copyright 2010 Practically Edible. RamNut
ok true story the wife cooked a fray bentos pie having not known to take the lid off i found her cowering behind the fridge having cooked it and tried to remove the lid. the pie was going off on the kitchen table blasting steam and gravy onto the ceiling. she was winged with a slight scolding to the side of face but i was impressed with the way she refused to be beaten.
