rams71 Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 there's no substitute for experience in management and southgate hasn't got any. look at Fulham last year,they were going down but they made Hodgson the manager who has plenty of experience in the game. they stopped up and look where they are now and look where Middlesborough are. seems pretty clear to me which club made the right appointment. rams71 Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 i remember Alladyce having a go about these ex players with no coaching badges because he had done all the courses etc paid for by himself which i think you are required to do and then they let someone ( cant remember who ) manage a premier league team with no qualifications whatsoever. Day Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 I agree with that if the rule exsists then clubs should be stopped from employing managers without badges, I just don't see why the rule is there in the first place.
