NothernRam
In the starting XI for tonight's totesport.com Central Division reserve fixture at Rotherham United "Derby have also handed a start to Euan Holden, who is the brother of Bolton Wanderers and USA international Stuart Holden." a Scottish-born American defender... http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2181903,00.html http://s07.radikal.ru/i180/1010/dd/c9292e106736
DAILLY 22
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euan_Holden had a trial at crewe not long ago, read into that what you will!! i know his brother has been doing good things at bolton and recently been given a new contract, if he is anywhere near as good as him he might be worth a punt for the rest of the season? we'll see how he goes in the reserves.... Boycie
He scored a hat trick at the Don Valley with 1 disallowed as well! His club want £20 for him, but Derby don't value him at that level, and will walk away from the deal.
Day
"Holden's contract was mutually voided after injuries prevented him from establishing himself at Vejle, having been limited to only two substitute appearances" Sound's like just what we need. Boycie
I'd rather have his sister Amanda.
Subman
To be fair, he played well against Rotherham on Weds when partnering Anderson. He was comfortable on the ball and even had a couple of runs forward into their box. Hope he gets another opportunity next week.
Stimacked
Seems like he is being closely watched back in the U.S as well as in Scotland and they rated him over the other side of the Pond when he was younger. http://www.tribalfootball.com/scotland-boss-levein-tracking-euan-holden-747511 The Danish coach had this to say after signing him young and very talented player†and has the advantage of being an all-around player that can play both as defenseman and midfielder. Gren said he is “strong, fast and has the will to develop.†http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/soc/6855711.html One poster said of him when he was drafted to play for the Houston Dynamous Euan will fit great with the team. I have seen him play in person alot and he is smart, fast and he is a real team player. His size is good too. I think he will take off great and I think he will get plenty of minutes. http://www.glenndavissoccer.com/soccer-news/dynamo-draft-three-at-mls-superdraft-in-philadelphia/ He has been unlucky with injuries so far in his career. He has had other trials this summer in both Scotland with St Mirren and England with Crewe among other clubs since he left the Danish club he was with. Seems like he is a ball playing left sided defender who can also play in a left defensive midfield role. Maybe not ready for first team football yet but we don`t have a another left back among the young pro`s at the moment.
Donny Ram
He scored a hat trick at the Don Valley with 1 disallowed as well! His club want £20 for him, but Derby don't value him at that level, and will walk away from the deal. If he's not worth it, don't pay it, no matter what the price. Aurum e stercore - I think not. Duracell
With the exception to this rule being £3m Claude Davis. Or was that the price we paid for the relentless greed of the game of football, and our punishment was his services for two seasons? Discuss. I want the 2,000 words on my desk by tomorrow, please.
