Phoenix
Very sad story. Being a Buxtonian, I remember him well. He had a job at one of the local quarries, would run the eight miles to work with a knapsack full of bricks, do a shift at the quarry then run home. His brother Vic used to deliver our groceries and keep us up to date with his latest exploits. And to think what appearance fees some of our Olympic Athletes command today. Total hypocracy. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/62607571 Reggie Greenwood
