Perky1106
You can not messure how well Clough is doing all the time he is being forced to sell players. The Derby board knew he was going to need time to make the jump to this level. But getting rid of him now that he's well into the learning curve would be a mistake. He will keep Derby up so long as the fans stay with him & the board don't ask him to sell more players in January. I hope you right. The only problem is the lack of strike force. We should have kept Varney (who is doing well at Blackpool :frown:) and used Kinder Bueno as a striker on Saturday. Cywka seems more the playmaker kind of man than a finisher to me. And Moxey is a left back. It's obvious Varney was either a personal issue between him and the manager or the silly contract Paul Jewell made for him was just unsustainable. We've got ourselves in a position where we have to rely on the loan market for key players. This is good financially but not good if we can't find a striker on loan. red fever
One striker on form can make a huge difference. Clough will get someone in on loan until your strikers are back. If the fans stay off clough's back who knows what's possible

Boycie
Kitson failed at Stoke, didn't pull loads of tree's up on loan to Reading either. I won't be investing.
