Day
Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that all obligations have been met to see the Football League embargo lifted. From this we can announce that Danny Drinkwater, Tom Heaton and Jason Koumas have on Friday evening been successfully registered for involvement in all Football League competitions. This obviously helps to strengthen the squad ahead of our opening npower Championship fixture on Sunday. As mentioned previously, all involved with Cardiff City continue to face up to the challenges presented by long term historical debts and the resulting cash flow issues. The Malaysian investors, directors, players and staff remain committed to seeing the club run on a sound business platform from which we can develop and grow in the future. http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10335~2113888,00.html ---------------------------------------------------------------- Can't be that skint, Koumas is a decent signing for them aswell. Day
Craig Bellamy was on SSN about 10 minutes ago, basically issued Cardiff a come and get me plea, what a signing that would be for them. Hasn't spoke to Mancini since February, was allowed to talk to Wolfsberg but didn't fancy the move, doesn't think he'l make the 25 squad at Man City either. Spoke about his family being in Cardiff and wasn't sure if they are in a position to offer a deal but sounded like he'd be up for the move. Boycie
Do you think Cardiff or even us could afford his massive wages, with the matching ego?
Day
I don't think he'd join us, if he went to Cardiff I imagine it would be a loan, depends on if Man City would want them to pay all his wages and a fee or not.
