Another leading high street brand has been attracted to Derby County, with Greggs, the home of fresh baking, due to open an outlet at Pride Park next month.

The popular bakery will be situated close to Derby County's Club Shop, shopDCFC, at the stadium.

From freshly baked savouries to handmade sandwiches and delicious sweet treats, Greggs offers a variety of fresh, great quality products. All hot drinks are Fairtrade and the breakfast range will also be available.

Greggs has concentrated on offering a diverse range of sandwiches, none of which have a 'sell by' date as they are only sold on the day they are made.

Derby County Vice President of Operations John Vicars said: "We're delighted we have been able to attract another leading high street brand to Pride Park Stadium.

"We are very excited to have Greggs on board and look forward to developing a mutually beneficial partnership with them for many years to come."

Founded in the 1930s by baker John Gregg in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with the first shop opening in 1951, Greggs' development has been rapid over the last decade.

Greggs has over 1,400 shops open throughout the UK, with each and every shop staying true to its origins and remains as good as it was the day it opened.

So that's where he's been ... busy writing his own name into HTML code :D

But if we happen to get a cup tie with Man U the kids will know where to get Rooney's autograph after the match.
