Day
Former Derby County winger Gary Teale has joined npower League One Sheffield Wednesday. The 31-year-old wideman has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal after being released by the Rams at the end of last season. Teale moved to Pride Park in 2007 from Wigan Athletic, and made 104 appearances in total prior to his departure in the summer. "Gary is very experienced, he has played at high levels including international games, and he can play wide on the right or left," Wednesday boss Alan Irvine told his club's official website. "He believes we can be at the top of the league and without that belief he wouldn't be here." Teale is Wednesday's sixth new signing of the summer as they prepare for life in League One after relegation from the Championship on the final day of last season. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2083063,00.html
