Day
Not had a thread yet on here regarding Mr Mears, I can't see Marseille signing him so he Should be back in Derby pretty soon, Will he want to play for us again? Will Clough want him to play with a clean slate as he has done with Savage? Do you want him to play for us again?
MattyTheRam
dont think he would be very welcome back by pearson.... played well in our promotion season though, but i think the skippers just as good as him at full back

Perky1106
Before he decided to crawl through the window, grab his boots and jog off to Marseille, I didn't really rate him. He was defensively mediocre really. After what he did, he won't be welcome at Pride park. Let's sell and make as much money as possible for the "highly talented, english right back who is superb going forward".

Boycie
New manager now, same chairman and fans. Would be a tough one, but if he did the biz for us, who would not want that?
Day
Englishman Tyrone Mears Ready To Start PSG – Marseille Clash When Derby County’s Tyrone Mears made the leap from the English Championship to French Ligue 1, he would have hoped to have made his league bow before March. A combination of injury and the good form of Laurent Bonnart (pictured) have kept him out of the Olympique de Marseille side, yet he is ready to feature in Sunday’s highly-anticipated ‘Derby de France’ against Paris Saint-Germain. CumbrianRam
Love this comment "Mears 6 - Sold the jerseys for the opening goal, and that sullies what was otherwise an energetic performance. He'll be kicking himself for that error." Day
He also went to Marseille knowing he would be 2nd choice. Mears is on loan from Derby until the end of the season, and the full back is glad to have been given the chance to ‘prove himself’ in the absence of number one choice Laurent Bonnart, who is out for the season. Mears told Marseille’s official website: “When I joined the club, Lolo was the natural number one at this position. “I was number two but I knew I would have the chance to push, whoever I was fighting with.
