LesterRam Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017 10 minutes ago, Spanish said: I don't get this at all, because you are unemployed the offence is less than if you go to work? next thing they will do is reduce jail sentence for robbery if you are unemployed my problem is, the unemployed are no longer the poorer in our society, you flash your benefit book and they will have a default set amount payable, some people on benefits are bringing in £150k a year and they will stay pay the default amount, its like the school premium, if you are unemployed you receive school clothing, meals and trips paid for the state on top of that housing/council tax benefit, why isn't it mean tested instead of automatically judged too poor to pay?
