61GT
Hi, Wonder if anyone can help us out. My eldest son called this afternoon to say that it looks like a front spring has broken on his 2004/5 Ford Fiesta, he's in his final year at Derby University. Luckily the spring broke only a few yards from his rented accommodation, so the car isn't stranded anywhere. If the car was at home we'd replace the springs ourselves but he has exams this week and even if I drive up next weekend with a trolley jack and some tools it'll be a difficult job to tackle in the street. Does anyone know of any reasonably-priced reliable mobile mechanics or garages in Derby in the university part of the city? Looking at options at the moment. Many thanks, George
McRamFan
Windmill Garage 01332 364180 My Mechanic uses these for MOT's and other jobs that he can't do as a sole trader, he's used them for ages. Would recommend mine, however he is not a mobile.

Plus one they are very trustworthy , however if anyone wants the best garage within miles it's Autotechz at Stapleford brilliant mechanics 100% trustworthy and not expensive Audi /VW specialists[no affiliation] and probably no help to the OP sorry. Stive Pesley
I've always used Cathedral Motors (at the bottom of Chapel Street near Queen St Baths) and they've always been decent/trustworthy/reasonable
