McRamFan
Not surprised at all, makes it to the big chair and then thinks he is untouchable. Football is rotten to the core, the FA is a laughing stock.
Day
Not sure why the FA is a laughing stock, sacked him within 48hrs, had they stood by him they would be. This type of thing won't be unique to England, you will find corruption in every country. Same with any sport where money can be made, be it the organisations, managers, owners or even the sportsmen and women taking drugs to cheat. Never stop it all. Impossible. Just got to minimise it as much as you can.
Bridgford Ram
Yes the FA acted firmly and swiftly to remove Allardyce, I guess they had to or they are in no position to complain about other corruption in football. Allardyce lost any modicum of respect I had for him (I had very little after he told us Rooney played well against Slovakia) when he claims entrapment won. Caught red handed and it is someone else fault - pathetic. I hope he never works in football again. A thought just come to mind, so many transfers are now undisclosed. Is this to hide the fact that the money isn't just going from the buying club to the selling club, with money going in all directions, not all of them above board?
