Dummies guide to posting images

Internet Explorer users

  1. Find the image in google images and click on it.
  2. Click on the link which says "See full size image" at the top.
  3. Copy the URL (web address).
  4. Click on the post image icon http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/images/editor/insertimagein your post screen and paste the URL (web address) in the pop up box.
  5. Your image will now appear in your post.

Firefox users

  1. Find the image in google images and right click then view image.
  2. Copy the URL (web address).
  3. Click on the post image icon http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/images/editor/insertimagein your post screen and paste the URL (web address) in the pop up box.
  4. Your image will now appear in your post.

Your doing it wrong, your image link is all wrong look at it....

http://http//www.socialmediamarketing.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/CrashTestDummy-2-8544b

It should start with http://www not http://http//www

Type the link in properly and the image will appear.

I did but on the flip side the amount of images that get posted on this forum is crazy and uses up our webspace allowence. I'm looking at the settings so users are given a limit of how many images they can post, once they reach that limit they will need to delete some.

I removed most of the old ones back in the summer, when we moved to IPB the folder contained over 2000 images, having this amount of images takes ages to do site backups and it uses up the server space we have available for the forum.
