Day
3 home defeats in a row now for Boro isnt it? I think we're in for another scrappy game with a draw at best, 3 points would be nice although can't see it personally.

Day
derby will be winning 1-0 , then they find a rucksack on an empty seat and the game gets abandoned! That'l be Vicky's fellas back with his packed lunch inside, kids always need to go for a pee through the game as they canna wait till half time. On a serious note, I hope Lita hasn't been taught the offside rule yet as Johnson and Lita can cause us real problems with there pace. The way Stoor went off I doubt he'l be playing tomorrow which means it's Connolly's job to deal with Adam Johnson, obviously that doesn't fill be with great confidence. Boycie
LEE Hendrie, Paul Dickov and Jay McEveley are all pressing for a start in Derby County's Championship clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium tonight (8pm). Derby have fielded two wingers this season but they are still looking for their first away win of the campaign. Only two points from 18 have been collected on the road and Nigel Clough has been thinking about playing a more solid midfield four in away games and possibly using a central midfielder in a wide midfield role on the left or right. "That would give us a little bit more solidity," said the manager. "Lee Croft is a winger, Gary Teale a winger, but probably a little bit more industrious than Lee is at times. http://iad.anm.co.uk/house/1x1 "When we are not having enough of the ball and not on top, then they (two wingers) can be a bit of a luxury. "Lee did not put one cross in during the hour he was on the pitch at Leicester and that is his strength, putting crosses in." Clough said Hendrie or McEveley are candidates to fill such a midfield role. Hendrie did not train yesterday after he felt a hamstring tighten in the goalless draw against Leicester City on Saturday but should be available. "Lee Hendrie has got a chance. He is in our thoughts as a possible starter," said Clough. "Hendrie came on against Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester and did well. He got the ball down and got us passing a bit. "When he was on the pitch at Leicester we had our best passage of play. "It's a dilemma. After not winning in six games away from home it's something we need to look at and ask if we're getting anything out of the wingers in an attacking sense, or should we be a bit more solid. "With Lee Hendrie being able to fill one of those roles, or Jay McEveley, it is something to think about. "Leicester played on Saturday with a central midfield player in Matt Oakley out on the right." Clough said Paul Green and Stephen Pearson would certainly be options in a wide midfield role if both were fit. "Jake Livermore does not look particularly comfortable out there," said Clough. "Paul Green, who is not fit at the moment, would be the ideal person to do that. He is a central midfield player but he has the legs to get up and down. "Jake Livermore could do it but we think he is a little bit inexperienced to be able to adapt to it at the moment." Rob Hulse will start up front against Middlesbrough and will be partnered by Kris Commons or Dickov. Commons made his first start in four games at the weekend, while Dickov impressed up front in the win against Sheffield Wednesday. He was ineligible to play at Leicester because he is on loan from the Foxes. "Paul is definitely pushing for a place, depending on how Kris is physically," said Clough. vicky-27
So Teale will play no matter how ***** - Croft puts 100 % effort in and is not good enough - Commons will always get the nod over Dickov as long as he has two legs - that's how that reads to me. :frown: and he says Livermore is no good more or less yet still picks him every week, sometimes it's hard to keep the faith.
