Self-driving cars

I listened to a podcast on this some time ago, really cool thoughts thrown in, like when lifts (elevators) were first invented and put into service people were too scared to use them so the companies had to put "drivers" in them to press the buttons.. Automation is scary, but it's the future I guess....and how many times have you seen a human driving like a chimp in the last 24 hours...!?
