Srg
Buy a £1 England badge and sew it onto a £15 plain Nike shirt.
May Contain Nuts
It's not that plain shirts look bad (they don't), it's not just that they're expensive, it's not that football shirts need to have 'fashion designs' - it's that each football kit needs to have SOMETHING about it that makes it unique - even if it's a bad design, even if it's one stripe in a stupid place, even if it's a dodgy collar - without the slightest hint of individuality aside from a club/country badge, there's no fecking point in releasing a new kit at all, ever. How many people remember certain footballers for the kit they wore? Certain seasons for the strip the team played in? If your attitude is the plainer the better, you might as well just keep it like this, sell the same shirt for 30 years, same manufacturer until they go bust, lower the cost to £10 a shirt, replace yours with a new one when it goes to **** - you won't need to associate seasons or players with a particular shirt anymore, just put it all in one bland everlasting memory of dullness - that's what the public seem to want, so give it to them, **** 'em.
