G STAR RAM Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 Grant 5 - Couple of good saves, thought he should have come and claimed ball for 2nd goal Freeman 4 - Got skinned a few times and offered little going forward. Harsh to blame him for 2 goals. Buxton 3 - Lack of pace exposed for first goal. Seems to have reverted back to trying 'Hollywood passes' beyond his capability. Keogh 4 - Positional play and reading of the game worry me. Distribution not his strongest point either. Forsyth 5 - Best defender of a bad bunch. Put a couple of good crosses in at the other end. Coutts 2 - Not really sure what he offers, never beats his man, can't cross, seems to be static whenever our right back gets the ball. So obviously being played out of position. Bryson 4 - Pretty much non existent but his energy levels never seem to drop. Gave the ball away cheaply at times. Hughes 4 - Worst game in a Derby shirt, passing radar broken! Ward 4 - Doesn't seem to be the attacking outlet he was last season. Deducted one point for trying a side foot shot from 30 yards. Martin 5 - Same as normal, great first touch but too much time spent on arse, referees getting wise to this. Russell 4 - Left his shooting boots at home wasting 3 gilt edged chances Smith 6 - defended well and looked to get forward, needs to work on going down the outside as opposed to drifting inside every time he attacks Sammon/Jacobs - not on long enough to have any influence on game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Buxton 1 - Man up! Keogh 1 - Did he even play? Forsyth 1 - Bruce Forsyth would have done better Coutts 1 - Pining after Brayford, let it go you fairy he's gone now Bryson 1 - Did we run out of Irn Bru pre match? Hughes 10 - Managed to put off every Premiership club looking at him, well done lad! Ward 1 - Feeling unloved with Jesus Russell's arrival? Martin 1 - You're supposed to score, that's what you do isn't it? Russell 1 - Do penalties not happen in the SPL?
