sage
Of you want old school pubs with decent beers go around the riverside and cathedral quarter, if you want drinks offers, music and young ladies to look at then Sadlergate and Friargate. There will be something going off down there. Student nights are Monday and Wednesday.

sage
I'm coming for the same game and I'm an old fart. Which places do you recommend ? The old school pubs of course. Three areas, working away from the ground. Smithfield, Alex and Brunswick near the station. Exeter and Brewery Tap on Derwent Street Dolphin, Silk Mill, Flowerpot and Furnace near the Cathedral. I was talking to Boycie the other day (his wife pays me to) and discussed a Forum drink meet up. Maybe we should arrange a meet up at one of the pubs near the station.
