uttoxram75
The FA are holding a Sir Bobby Robson Day on Saturday August 10th. Loads of events at grass roots level going on, but all league clubs need to do is display his own words on our beautiful game on every scoreboard for the entire matches of that weekend.... "What is a football club? Not the buildings or the directors or the people paid to represent it. Its not the television contracts, get-out clauses, marketing departments or executive boxes. Its the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. Its a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father's hand, gawping at that hallowed turf, and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love" Come on Sam and Nigel. Stick that up on the scoreboard for the whole of the Blackburn match.
