As a fundraising venture, couldn't Jeff get his brother Timmy to come down,on match days?

You can actually identify investors running into double figures, and there may even be over 20 of them given that the constituent members of some groupings can't be identified.

I've no particular gripe with the investors. The way the ownership is structured,it would appear to me that they probably invested on the back of a costed plan, with future contributions clearly defined. The fact that it may have gone a bit pear shaped isn't their fault I strongly suspect that some of the cash was earmarked for promotion push, with the remainder to enhance Prem spending (a director's report indicated that they hoped for promotion by 9/10).

To draw an analogy,if I were to invest in a managed fund which performed badly,I'd be a bit peeved if the underlying companies told me I should invest more,to add insult to the injury of an underperforming investment. My discontent lies elsewhere,as encapsulated in one of alpha's recent posts.

Although I say that you can't compel the investors to dig deep further, there's nothing to stop us canvassing on the basis that a further modest investment at the right time might produce dividends.
