mozza
I thought it might be an idea to start a thread where we can ask and attempt to answer any questions on any sports we are unsure of the rules of.. Answer me this one.. 1/ A player takes a shot from outside the penalty area, which flies past his 'offside', (but not interfering with play) teammate, the goalie 'parries' the ball onto the post, rebounding to the 'offside' teammate, who heads the ball home.. should the goal stand ? 2/ A player is through on goal, but over exaggerates his 'dive' in the penalty area, he was fouled, but his 'over exaggerating dive' earns him a booking for, over-reacting, bearing in mind he WAS fouled, could the referee still give a penalty ? davenportram
I think offside for the first because he gained an advantage from being in front if the last defender so if say he would be interfering with play The second yep the ref could give a penalty and book the player for diving. Two different offences but the fouls still means a penalty.

mozza
The referee gives a drop ball, the two players agree to let one of them kick the ball back to their oppositions defence, a forward intercepts the 'passback' and rounds the goalie to score, should the goal stand ? would never happen, i know.. DCFCfranco
I don't think there's anything against it but it's very unsportsmanlike. Normally the team that scored allows the opposition to cancel that goal. Unless you're luis guilherme and a collossal ****.
Boycie
A penalty is about to be struck, the player takes a run up from the opposite penalty area, he does a forward roll, a cartwheel, followed by a triple salco with pike. he's about fooked as he is about to kick the ball, Then a mole burrows to the surface dislodging the football and the player air shots. Does he get to retake the spot kick?
