Atmosphere....

Hello!

I joined this forum last year before I moved to Derby Uni to ask a few questions, mostly about the football. So yeah, just telling you who i am 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I've got tickets for Cardiff at home on the 27th November, they were giving out free tickets in the Freshers Fare in late September for the games against Barnsley and Cardiff!

I went to Charlton in September, sat in the cheapest area to the left of the away fans.

The tickets for Cardiff at home are in the lower tier of the North Stand, so just wondering what is the atmosphere like at that part of the ground?

You may have noticed me at Charlton, wearing a red top freezing to death haha 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Oh and don't worry, I was supporting Derby as I have been for the past year and a half, always a Baggie firstly though 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Not like us to give away free tickets??

Ha! You had to sign up for something, then pick out a piece of paper from a bag, if the paper had a black dot, you get 2 free tickets 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> know quite a few people who are going as well! Really want Derby v Wba though, walking around Derby in an Albion top is good enough haha!

We used to sit in NS lower and the atmosphere was fine, although it's fair to say it's a lot quiter than the SE corner, but a bit more lively than WS.

It's where families tend to sit so bad language is heard less often than in other parts of the ground. On the whole I'd say there are worse places to sit.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yeah I've noticed the South East corner being the loudest.

Just a little sidenote, I really do hope Derby do well this season, think you deserve it after the disastrous season in the Prem, but that's karma for beating us in the playoff final. Don't worry, I get reminded of it sometimes by the locals when I have my Albion shirt on! Oh and Pride Park is a brilliant stadium.
