Took my lad to the game today too - first ever Derby game. Like Derbados said, seeing their face light up when seeing the pitch was worth the ticket price.
We were sat in West Stand Upper - close to the South Stand. Atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. By the time we kicked off he was already joining in with the chants, and went ducking wild both times we scored.

Think I've successfully created a new Derby County fan for (hopefully) years to come.

Taking my son to his first game on Sunday against Birmingham - is there any where that people would suggest is the best spot for a kids first experience at PP? I'm thinking West Stand, near the South Stand so he can experience the atmosphere. Not sure whether Upper or Lower though.

I didn't see it advertised anywhere as a documentary.
Everyone moans that we're always the centre of negative press, yet here we are with one of the games modern greats nipping into Moor Farm, speaking positively about the work Rooney is doing and look at the reaction.
And why does the win stat over this year and last season need to be churned out day after day, last season is gone, it's over.
This season it's clear to see performances have improved and we're sat higher in the table than clubs with far more experienced managers and squads at their disposal.
When's the guy gonna be given a break? Maybe there is a positive atmosphere behind the scenes, which is great to hear, can we not just enjoy a bit of positivity amongst all the daily doom gloom.

Exactly this. A quick "whoop" is used a lot in basketball for this reason too.
On another note: Think I'm going to get Kazim on the back of a shirt next season
