  1. Probably trying to emulate his manager.
  2. You'll have to humour me and show me where I have said that any other team in our league would laugh at our squad...or did you just make that up to suit your point?
  3. And we could quite easily have been 2 down before we scored. All about opinions mate, and that is how I saw the game. I respect your opinion that we could have won by 5 or 6, though I have a different opinion based on watching the game and looking at the chances they created. Even the DCFC commentary team agreed that it was a fairly even first half and they more than played their part in it. Do you want to disagree with them also?
  4. And that is what I am doing...offering my opinion which is contrary to many/most on here as I have always been fully behind PW.
  5. I agree with all that. I said we have a squad of average players, which I stand by. For this league, that is all that is required.
  6. Not at all. We have a squad full of average players. That is why we are in League One. An average league with average players. As for taking the high ground...for the last 2 months, 90% of what I have read is forum posters wanting PW out. Nothing wrong with having a go back at them now is there?
  7. Quite average actually, certainly not easy on the eye, which I'm beginning to think is the way to play if we want to get out of this league. 3-0 somewhat flatters us which seems to be par for the course recently, but can't complain. 3 more points towards the end goal and yet another confidence building result.
  8. There's a whole lot of things that certain forum members were bemoaning not that long ago... No doubt they'll pipe up once the results take a downturn.
  9. Can only assume the ref thought it was an elbow, but on the reply, it looked innocuous. Didn't even look like a yellow card to me.
  10. I was beginning to wonder where he was. Funny how you never hear from some posters when we're winning.
  11. What argument are you referring to? Last thing I want to do is to debate a ridiculous point to someone I neither know or care to know; so if you insist that I lost some argument then be my guest and I'll bow down to your ego as it probably makes you feel better. Neither of us can prove anything either way; so let's leave it there but no doubt you will want the last word if any of your previous posts are anything to go by.
  12. I most certainly didn't lose any argument. I merely deal in facts. Any team that has only managed to amass 11 points in a single season is quite rightly going to be the ridicule of other fans for as long as they hold the record. Denying that makes you open to ridicule. If the boot was on the other foot, Forest fans would not hear the last of it. Continue to live in your Derby bubble mate with your rose tinted spectacles on. I'll support DCFC for as long as I live and will continue to go to as many games as I can, but I will be vocal in the disappointing way the club has been ran for the last 20 years with good reason. If that makes me a Forest fan in your mind, then so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it.
  13. I wish that were the case mate. Until it gets beaten, which I cannot see ever happening, we will always be known as the worst club in Premiership history and to all intensive purpose, football barely exists outside of the Premier League. It's something that clearly bothers forum posters, as a new thread pops up every season and will likely continue so until it is beaten.
  14. I didn't lose anything. You are simply refusing to accept that Derby are the laughing stock of English football. We are. Stop denying it. I live and breathe DCFC, but I accept it. If them down the road had suffered it, we wouldn't let it lie.
  15. What a pathetic response. What is so tiring about my post? Disagree, by all means, but please tell me which part and let's debate.
  16. That is class. You argue against my point, yet the xg suggests 2-1. Yoiu couldn't make it up!!
  17. No doubt those that didn't watch the game will see a 3-0 scoreline and think this was an easy win. It flatters us somewhat. There are most certainly not 3 goals between the sides.
  18. Probably because the manager who is able to monitor them in training day in day out and get regular reports on their progress doesn't think they're quite ready. Why beat the manager for this? Do you know something he doesn't?
  19. If that chance had come off Collins head rather than his shoulder, it would surely have been a goal.
  20. Mostly Derby possession so far without creating anything. All rather dull stuff.
  21. 5M doesn't go a long way. A replacement would cost what, 2M? Add on their salary for 3 years, that's another 1.5M and Nyambe's contract would be another 1.5M. That's your 5M gone. Your suggesting a striker, a midfielder and a winger? What ;planet do you live on! You'd need 10~15M for those players when you factor in transfer fees and wages.
  22. And that is my point. Even the club accept that fans will be voting on their feet.
  23. At the beginning of the season, Fozzy was going to be a bit part player and now you are advocating playing him out of position to replace our most cultured ball player in defence. If we do as you suggest; we would be worse off both at centre half and at LB. Should we get 5M, and I would be very surprised if we did, we must reinvest that into the team by bringing in a replacement centre half and using the rest to offer a 2 year contrat to Nyambe.
  24. I find it embarrassing that a club of our stature is involved in this competition but I find myself stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'll never want my club to lose, but I think winning the thing would just be shouting out from the rooftops of our current predicament. It's a joke of a competition designed to give some of the 'smaller' clubs recognition and the chance of a modicum of glory, but for those 'bigger' clubs that are involved; winning it would merely serve as a reminder just how bad things have become. It would have been better for all concerned if we had gone out in the group stages, but due to our poor form a the time; PW felt obliged to pick a fairly strong side in the group stages and we qualified. Attendances are always a fair meter of just how much we care about the competition and we'll be lucky if the attendance tonight hits 5 figures.
  25. It's actually quite amusing how every season, a thread like this appears and fans get their hopes up that that embarrassing record might get beaten. It will never get beaten and no team has ever even come close to it. The closest was a huge 27% more with 15 points. We remain and will remain the laughing stock of English football whether we like that or not and unfortunately for us; Forest will always have the more ammunition to throw at us than we have at them.
